Guidelines for Submitting Research Articles to ‘Techade’
Techade welcomes research articles aligned with the ‘Call for Papers’ in bi-annual basis, outlined on its website (www.techadetheejournal.com). Authors intending to publish in Techade should adhere to the following instructions:
- Theme Selection:
- Articles must correspond to one of the Sub-Themes within the designated bi-annual theme.
- The sub-themes listed on the Techade website are indicative rather than exhaustive, meaning authors may propose their own sub-theme, provided it aligns with the primary theme for that month.
- Formatting Requirements:
- English Articles:
- Must be written in Times New Roman (Font Type), 12-point font size, with 1.5 spacing.
- Subtitles should be bolded for clarity.
- Authors must maintain consistency in using Indian or British English throughout the article/commentary.
- English Articles:
- Citation & Ethics:
- Sources must be acknowledged in End Notes, following the 7th Edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) Style.
- Articles must be originally written by the author, with all external references properly cited.
- Submitted articles/commentaries/book reviews undergo plagiarism checks—plagiarism beyond prescribed limits will result in rejection.
- AI-generated plagiarism, including the use of artificial intelligence to create content without proper attribution or significant original author input, is strictly prohibited. Any detected AI-generated content that violates ethical authorship standards will lead to immediate rejection.
- Article Length & Content Restrictions:
- Research Articles must be between 5,000 to 8,000 words.
- Commentaries must be between 3,000 to 5,000 words.
- Book Revies must be between 1,500 to 3,000 words.
- Tables or graphical representations of quantitative data must be from authentic sources.
- Author Responsibility:
- Authors must provide an undertaking affirming that their article/commentaries/book reviews are original and has not been submitted elsewhere for publication.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of all facts, figures, and data sourced from external references.
- Submission Process:
- Research articles/commentary/book reviews must be submitted in soft copy in MS world file format via email to techade.theejournal@gmail.com.
- The article/commentary/book reviews must be anonymous and must be submitted along with the title page and a short bio note of the author(s).
6.1. Anonymity in Submission
- Each submission must be anonymous, ensuring that no identifiable information about the author(s) appears in the main text of the manuscript.
- The author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact details, acknowledgments, or any self-referential citations must not be included within the body of the article.
- Authors must avoid phrasing that would reveal their identity, such as references to their previous work in a way that explicitly identifies them (e.g., “In my prior research…” should be replaced with “In previous research…”).
6.2. Title Page Requirement
- A separate Title Page must accompany the manuscript. This page should include:
- Title of the Article/Commentary/Book Review
- Author’s Full Name (or names, in the case of multiple authors)
- Institutional Affiliation (if applicable)
- Email Address & Contact Information
- Acknowledgments (if any, but must remain on the title page and not within the manuscript)
6.3. Short Bio Note
- Authors must submit a brief biographical note (bio note) along with their manuscript, included in a separate document or at the end of the title page.
- The bio note should be concise, generally 100–150 words, and should contain:
- Author’s academic or professional background
- Relevant publications or research interests
- Current institutional affiliation (if applicable)
- Any other pertinent details that introduce the author’s expertise on the subject matter
Student’s Corner – Submission Guidelines
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are invited to contribute to Student’s Corner with original short write-ups (maximum 1000 words). Submissions can include blog-style articles, commentaries, opinion pieces, dissertation summaries, or insights on technology, society, policy, and innovation.
Submission Format:
- File format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 line spacing
- Word limit: Up to 1000 words (excluding references)
- Citations and references: APA 7th edition format
- Include your full name, course, institution, and contact email at the top of the document.
Important Rules:
- Email your write-up to techade.theejournal@gmail.com with the subject line: Submission – Student’s Corner
- The submission must be the student’s original work. Plagiarism or content generated using AI tools is strictly prohibited.
- The author will bear full responsibility for the content, claims, and citations made in the article.
- Proper acknowledgment of sources and data is mandatory.
Selected entries will be featured on the Techade website under the Student’s Corner section.
